Brittany S. Hargrove
LCSW, LCAS is the Clinical Lead Therapist with Sanctuary House. Brittany is responsible for providing clinical support and oversight to therapists and professionals in the organization’s Outpatient Therapy program, as well as ensuring service provision for the organization’s PSR, Day Activity, Supportive Employment, and Personal Care programs.
Brittany is a North Carolina native who obtained her bachelor’s in social work in 2011 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Brittany continued her education and obtained her master’s in social work in 2013 with the joint program between the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina Agricultural &Technical State University.
Brittany has been in clinical practice for 8 years with extensive training and experience in several treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma Therapy, and Drug and Alcohol Treatment. Brittany is also a certified LCSW Clinical Supervisor and is enthusiastic about supporting professionals in reaching licensure status as the need for mental health professionals continues to be a great need in our society. Brittany believes in the therapeutic value of human connection and strives to help individuals and families implement the notion that hope, effort, and patience are the gateways to success, joy, and abundance.
